The Irish in Film
A Complete List of Irish Films

 Title  Widow's Peak
On the surface this light comedy/mystery depicts life in Limerick during the mid 1920's. And underneath it shows the long struggle between the Irish upper and lower classes. Yet, it is the propensity of the Irish to gossip that is the main subject here. Are the Irish really more ready to gossip than other nationalities? And how does this relate to the supposed Irish "gift of the gab?" Link to reviews
