The Irish in Film
A Complete List of Irish Films

 Title  Turning Green
Many dream of going back to Ireland, but here we have a lad sent back against his will. Imagine being an American teen (and because of a death in the family) having to live with three Irish aunts in Limerick. The language, the customs and the mannerisms shock the system. And he's not so keen on how his aunts act, either. He spends his days dreaming and scheming, trying to find a way back to America. As luck would have it, he finds a way to earn some quick money. Unfortunately, it's not exactly legal. And, even though the garda welcome the odd bribe, the mob does not. The language is strong for what would appear on the surface to be a teen flick. Be advised: the plot hinges on porn and masturbation lampooning Ireland's 'official' (wink wink, nudge nudge) dim view of them both. Link to reviews Click picture
