 Title  Road to Perdition
In 1930's Chicago, gangers were so powerful they controlled large sections of the city and even whole towns on its outskirts. The message here is clear: work for the mob or don't work at all. The hit man Michael Sullivan is faced with just this dilemma; he walks the fine line between 'family' member and family member. Cold-hearted killer on one side -- devoted Catholic and father on the other. He likes his job and he earns a good living but the security it buys is false, based only on the loyalty of his fellow gang members, who, after all, are thieves and murders. Ultimately, he must face the question whether his loyalty to the mob or the safety of his family is more important. Link to reviews Click picture
