The Irish in Film
A Complete List of Irish Films

 Title  Relative Strangers
This mini-series shows us modern Irish living and working in Germany. So many Irish who work aboard find themselves returning to Ireland to handle one family emergency or another. Here there is a twist. The family here is one that the relatives did not know about. Many secrets thrust themselves into light spewing pain and fear, but some things cannot be ignored. Not to give the ending away, but a small child is in need of a donor so close relatives are sought out from afar. The inadvertent homecoming brings laughter, tears and a rejoining of old friends. The real Irish angle here is that generosity abounds in the Irish culture. When asked to donate marrow to a stranger in crisis, even though their own lives were in crisis, the family had the right stuff. Link to reviews Click picture
