 Title  Resurrection Man
The gang shown here calling themselves The Resurrection Men is based on the real life gang The Shankill Butchers who terrorized Catholics in Belfast from 1975 to 1977. The members were all young thugs who were loosely associated with the Ulster Volunteer Force known simply as the UVF. The leader of the gang was a ruthless killer named Murphy (called Kelly in the film). Some believe that Murphy, a Protestant with a Catholic name, had a hard time growing up in sectarian Belfast. Murphy singled out Catholic men whom he killed one by one. But he is reported to have killed some of his own, as well. Murphy's extreme brutality caused him to be feared and hated by both sides, leading inevitably to his demise. Link to reviews Click picture
