Title  Patriot Games
This film depicts the IRA as well organized, well funded, and truly malevolent. They resemble a cross between Arab terrorists (training in North Africa camps) and the mafia (following a man almost a thousand miles to exact revenge). The hero of the story, Jack Ryan, makes no mention of Irish heritage (though his name clearly suggests it) and the inner conflict that might cause. Clearly the priority is to create a formidable foe for the hero to battle rather than depict the IRA and the ambivalence of Irish-Americans accurately.			Click picture for more info
