The Irish in Film
A Complete List of Irish Films

 Title  Kisses
Set in contemporary, inner-city Dublin, two children run away from abusive homes on Christmas day. They go looking for another who has run away, and while looking, find themselves interacting with many different people. They soon find that the boogiemen stories they've been told are not true but that the danger from ordinary men is very real. In the film, anyone who is making a living is foreign, while the native Irish are collectively in despair of ever finding work. The children, a reflection of their parents, are woefully lacking in resourcefulness. They give up. Still they have learned one thing. They may not have much but they can give each other love and kisses. Link to reviews Click picture
