 Title  Killing Bono
Though fictionalized, this film is based on Neil McCormick's memoir Killing Bono: I Was Bono's Doppelganger. It's a tragic/comic story of two rock groups that emerged in the Dublin scene. As the 80's progressed, one group would fade into obscurity while the other would become the biggest Irish group of all time, U2. The story depicts Bono and his early band members in their early high school days. The two groups, so typical of emerging groups, change personnel and fight about control of their future. This deteriorates into jealousy and backstabbing and finally violence. Well, you can always write and sell your memoirs. Link to reviews Click picture
