The Irish in Film
A Complete List of Irish Films

 Title  Divorcing Jack
The film is set in the clean, modern city of Belfast, Northern Ireland, 1999, where life appears normal on the surface but the residue of the Troubles just won't wash away. The story revolves around a journalist/humorist who lampoons the mighty and the small from both sides. He finds humor in every situation yet, after 25 years, is still trying to make sense of it all. IRA members have become common criminals and UVF members, skinheads roaming the city looking for trouble. Others have moved on. They have jobs and respectability, but who can answer what did you do during the troubles with a clean conscience? His troubles begin when the residue of the past finds its way to his doorstep.
